When I read/write frequency, the computer prompts "Initialization serial port error, communication failure".

The reasons might be:
1. The PC software model and version are incorrect;
2. The radio is not powered on;
3. The program cable is not original from the manufacturers;
4. The USB interface driver is not installed;
5. The wrong port is chosen;
If not the reasons above, please contact the manufacturer and distributor.
Q
Low audio, intermittent or silent call when in reception.
A
1. Check whether the battery is too low; recharge or replace the battery.
2. Check whether the volume itself is low, increase the volume through the knob or contact the dealer and manufacturer to adjust the microphone gain function.
3. Check whether the antenna is loose or not properly installed. Reinstall the antenna after power-off.
4. Check whether the speaker is damaged or blocked; do some external cleaning.
5. Check whether the radio is beyond BS coverage.

Other voice or noise is heard in the channel.
A
1. Check whether it is interfered by the same frequency users. It is suggested to change the frequency or adjust the noise level.
2. You can configure signaling for all terminals in the group to prevent co-frequency interference. The signaling settings of all terminals must be changed at the same time.

The light is red but no sound is heard.
A
1. No output from the power amplifier tube; replace with a new tube.
2. The microphone may be damaged and needs to be replaced.

A prompt indicating that the repeater is not on.

1. Check whether the frequency is set incorrectly and whether the color code and signaling are correct.
2. Check whether the repeater is powered on.

1. In the PC software, turn on GPS/BD, and set the time for report interval.
2. Select Auto Report.

Unable to transmit a call.
A
1. Check whether the call indicator is green. At this time, the radio may be in the receiving status. Press the PTT button when the indicator is idle.
2. Channel parameters can be set in PC software as Transmission Always Allowed.
3. Press the PTT transmission button to check whether the radio indicator is red. If not, check whether the battery is low.
4. Check whether the PTT button is damaged.
